Jackson Free Press recently recognized Dr. LaMonica Davis Taylor as Best Dentist and Best Pediatric Dentist for 2021. Dr. Taylor works to educate communities about health and to help children see dentistry in a more positive light. She has continued to do community outreach and has recently launched a mobile dental clinic to serve children in more rural areas of Mississippi.
Dr. Taylor brought Smiles on Broadway Dental to life in 2014.
“I always knew I wanted to be a health care provider. I had a traumatic experience as a child and was in an accident, and I ended up having to see a dentist multiple times. So, I definitely knew I wanted to take that route and also do something where I could still be involved in the community,” Taylor says.
